Shipping Policy

At Legacy Hair and Body, every order is carefully handcrafted, packed, and shipped with love. Please review our shipping policy below to understand how we operate and how we protect the quality of our products.

📦 Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. During high-volume periods (sales, holidays, or product launches), processing times may be slightly extended.

🚚 Shipping Rates & Delivery

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • We currently ship within the United States only.

  • Delivery typically occurs 3–7 business days after dispatch, depending on your location.

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.

🛑 Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
Legacy Hair and Body is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • You will be responsible for reshipping costs.

  • If you no longer want the order, we will issue store credit minus the original shipping charges.

❗ Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once your package is handed off to the carrier, we are not liable for delays, lost, or stolen packages.

If you experience any delivery issues:

  • First, contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number.

  • Then, reach out to us at legacyhairandbody@gmail.com and we will do our best to assist you.

For added protection, consider selecting Route Package Protection at checkout (if available).

📦 Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging

We will offer a replacement or store credit, as appropriate.

Please note: Due to their natural ingredients, our body butters may soften or melt during transit, especially in warmer climates. This does not impact the quality or effectiveness of the product. If melting occurs, gently shake the sealed/closed jar to redistribute the contents, then place it in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes. Once re-solidified, the body butter is ready for use.
